Dear High School Students and Families:
As previously indicated, the District will continue to send updates to you related to high school athletic programming, recognizing there have been ongoing shifts due to the impact of COVID-19. Your patience and understanding has been appreciated.
At their July 28th meeting, the Washington Interscholastic Activities Association (WIAA) Executive Board took action that adjusts the previously released 2020-2021 high school athletic calendar. The WIAA is the state governing body for high school sports. The decision will result in changes for all high school athletic programs across the state.
The attached document , which can be found on the WIAA website, provides detailed information about how this decision will impact the WIAA sports offered by the Bellevue School District. The attachment also provides some details about non-WIAA athletic offerings across the District.
Please don’t hesitate to reach out to me at email@example.com or 425-456-4010 should you have specific questions. Updated information is also available on the district’s website and each high school’s website.
