🌟Retreat 2025🌟

Our team retreat will be at Warm Beach Camp in Stanwood and is a captain-led overnight team-building weekend. It should be a lot of fun and is one of the highlights of girls swim & dive at Bellevue!

Sat 9/13 Bus leaves BHS 10:45a, arrival 12:00p
Sun 9/14 Bus leaves 10:30a, returns to BHS 11:45a

Our hope is everyone can go. The expected cost is $100 per participant billed through student school accounts and covers lodging, 2 meals, and retreat transportation. If anyone is in need of financial assistance please let us know.

Chaperones, please let us know the times you are available or if you will be available for the whole retreat in the survey comments, you are not required to ride the bus. 💙Wolverine Practice💛

We are also starting something new this season. Wolverine Practice (Fridays) is a chance for 1-3 interested athletes to create and lead the team in a practice. Plan it out and use the practice time available. Coaches can help or provide you with sets, but make it your own! This is an opportunity to demonstrate leadership but also make Fridays a bit fun.

Please let us know who you want to work with and which dates you are interested in. Dates will be scheduled once responses are in and more dates may be added as necessary. Looking forward to seeing how these turn out!

Other highlights from the season info document:

Athletes are eligible for competition after 7 practice days. Everyone should be eligible by our 2nd meet, Inglemoor @ Bellevue, Tue 9/16. Meets and practices are most fun when more are able to go! Please make swim & dive a priority to get enough practices by then.
Athletes are expected to attend 3-5 days per week, maintain 50% or above, and may not miss more than 3 days a week without prior communication.
Be in the pool within the first 15min and participate at least 45min for a swim practice to count. No waiting.
If arriving late or leaving early, prior communication must be made by the student; or a parent, teacher, or doctor's note will be accepted at any time.
Everyone is expected to compete in an end-of-season meet. Please plan on attending or communicate if you must miss. Post-season is a priority and athletes that qualify are expected to compete except where entries are limited. There is also a KingCo Invitational for those who do not have at least 2 KingCo times.
Microsoft Teams will also be used for student communication with a team chat (not yet created). Please ensure that your student account has Teams access in the app or a browser.

District dive is Thu 11/7, swim prelims Fri 11/8, and swim finals Sat 11/9.

Hello BHS Girls Swim & Dive!

I hope everyone is having a great summer. The 2024 girls swim & dive season is just 2 weeks away! Practices start Mon 8/26.

Please register in FinalForms if you haven't already and check that you have a current physical on file, and all parent AND student forms are signed before your first practice! Divers will also need an ImPACT concussion test on file. ImPACT testing for divers will be offered 8/19, 8/20, 8/22, 8/23 at the BHS Commons, please arrive before 2:00p.

First week practices will be:

Our TEAM GOAL this year is to have everyone eligible for competition with a minimum of 7 practice days (previously 10) by our 2nd meet, Issaquah @ Bellevue, Thu 9/19. Meets and practices are most fun when more are able to go! Please make swim & dive a priority to get enough practices by then.

Any updates will be emailed and reflected in the live season info document. All files and links during the season will also be available on my team cloud drive at https://tinyurl.com/swivedrive. A current version of the season info document is also attached, as well as the prepay photo form. I do not have the 2022-23 post-season qualifying standards, but last season's are still up in the Links and References section of the cloud drive.

Divers will need an ImPACT concussion test on file. BHS will offer testing:
