I encourage everyone to bring a water bottle. Other things you will need are a swimsuit, goggles, cap, towel, maybe some flip flops and sunblock since we are outdoors and may still have some warm days!

Please keep in mind, to be eligible to compete you will need 10 practices without any deductions. This means you can only miss 3 practices to compete by our first meet 9/9. It's easiest to get these in at the beginning, especially before school starts. Divers, I strongly encourage you to attend some of the swim practices the first 3 days to get your practices in, as there may not be dive practices on those days! We can try to find more dive-specific things for you to work on as well, and also do some swim & dive team-building the first week.

BHS Swim & Dive registration is open!

8/9/2021

On behalf of the Captains and Coach Michael, I hope you're having a wonderful summer!  If you haven't checked the website recently, registration is currently open for 2021-22 athletics.  The BHS Athletics page contains all of the information you need to register.  Please make sure that registration, ImPACT Testing (divers), and physicals are complete prior to the first practice (Monday, 8/23/2021)

Coach Lisa van Loben Sels is stepping away from coaching to focus on her growing sports rehabilitation and physical therapy practice on the greater Eastside. Lisa was a member of the coaching staff at Bellevue High School for 8 seasons and led the Bellevue Girls to the WIAA 3A State Championship as head coach the last two seasons.

We will miss seeing coach Lisa on deck but we wish her well in her growing professional practice.

Thank you, Lisa, for your leadership and broad contribution to Bellevue High School Swim and Dive program!
